  1. Hi,

    I’m a radio ham and needed a sketch to remotely operate a controlling motor to wind in and out a capacitor your ‘Aduino Stepper Motor Acceleration and Rotary Encoder Control’ is absolutely brilliant and fits the bill perfectly, as a non coder can I ask a quick question please.

    I’m using a A4988 motor interface and would like to use the push switch of the encoder to increment three output pins in a particular sequence to make the motor reduce from full speed to 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 speed, in your sketch the switch is used but I don’t know what it does, nothing is apparent when it’s operated, could it be used to control the output pins?

    1. Hi Ian,
      The push switch on the necoder is used for emegency stop I also used it change direction of motor, but you use it for what ever you want.

    Many thanks for returning my contact, could you modify and post up a sketch so that pressing the push switch on the encoder once causes an output goes high, pressing it a second time returns the output to low.

    Is this something you could do for me?

  4. Hi, my name is César and im a it student in Portugal. Im finishing a project that consiste in a solar tracker. I have a problem in conecting 4 light sensor into Arduino. I saw your project conecting 12/of that sensores, but you didn’t put the schematic of the conections. Can tou help me? I will apreciate.
